Vaughn Frick

Vaughn Frick is the President and founder of Ashbec LLC, a management research and consulting firm based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. In 2010, Mr. Frick was awarded US Patent No. 7,765,114, "Patient Treatment Management System Using Treatment Regimens" a method and system designed to eliminate preventable medical error in a hospital inpatient setting. Prior to starting Ashbec, Vaughn was a Group Vice President for Gartner Inc. in the Research and eMetrix business units. Mr. Frick has over 30 years of business experience. His areas of specialization include performance management, change management, total cost of ownership, knowledge management, business transformation and management of distributed computing. He is an internationally known speaker, lecturer and author.

Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Frick held management and technical positions in the areas of software development, marketing, operations research and strategic business planning for organizations including Gilbreath & Barnett Inc., Price Waterhouse, Nastec Corporation, Crown Zellerbach and The University of Michigan. Mr. Frick taught, did research and earned both bachelors and masters degrees in Industrial and Operations Engineering at The University of Michigan.

Throughout his career, in addition to the 11,000+ Gartner research clients, Mr. Frick has provided technical and management consulting services to clients on six continents plus training clients in North America and Europe too numerous to list.
